1. From Rameswaram to Rashtrapati Bhavan
๐Abdul Kalam was born on October 15, 1931 in Rameswaram, South Koti, a spiritual symbol of Indian national unity.
๐From 1945 to 1950 the teacher Mr. Immersed in the best teachings of Ayyathurai Solomon, he planned his dreams.
๐In 1954, he joined the Aeronautical Engineering Department of the College of Technology (MIT), Chrompet, Chennai.
๐He joined the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) in 1958.In 1962, he joined the Indian Space Research Organization as a Senior Scientific Assistant.
๐In 1963, he was part of the team that successfully launched India's first rocket, Abag, a sounding rocket.
๐In 1967, the Indian-made Rohini 75 rocket was successfully launched from the Tumba rocket launch pad.
๐In 1980, he became the director of the 'Launch Vehicle System'.
๐He was awarded the Padma Bhushan on 26th January 1981 by the then President Dr. Neelam Sanjeevi Reddy.
๐On 31 May 1981, the 3-D1 rocket was launched and brought Kalam more fame.
