1. From Rameswaram to Rashtrapati Bhavan
👉Abdul Kalam was born on October 15, 1931 in Rameswaram, South Koti, a spiritual symbol of Indian national unity.
👉From 1945 to 1950 the teacher Mr. Immersed in the best teachings of Ayyathurai Solomon, he planned his dreams.
👉In 1954, he joined the Aeronautical Engineering Department of the College of Technology (MIT), Chrompet, Chennai.
👉He joined the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) in 1958.In 1962, he joined the Indian Space Research Organization as a Senior Scientific Assistant.
👉In 1963, he was part of the team that successfully launched India's first rocket, Abag, a sounding rocket.
👉In 1967, the Indian-made Rohini 75 rocket was successfully launched from the Tumba rocket launch pad.
👉In 1980, he became the director of the 'Launch Vehicle System'.
👉He was awarded the Padma Bhushan on 26th January 1981 by the then President Dr. Neelam Sanjeevi Reddy.
👉On 31 May 1981, the 3-D1 rocket was launched and brought Kalam more fame.
👉He became the Director of DRDL on 1st June 1982.

👉He served as the Chief Scientific Advisor to the Government of India from 1999 to November 2001.
👉On 25 November 1999, he was promoted as Principal Scientific Adviser, equivalent to a Union Cabinet Minister.
👉He retired from his duties in November 2001 and took over as a sessional professor at Anna University.
👉On July 25, 2002, Dr. Abdul Kalam became the 11th President of India.
